The NGO Iran Human Rights, based in Oslo, Norway, reported on Monday that at least 76 people have been killed in Iran since the start of protests sparked by the death of Mahsa Amini, a young woman, after her arrest by police mores. 

At least 76 people have been killed in Iran since protests sparked by the death of a young woman after she was arrested by vice police, the Oslo-based NGO Iran Human Rights (IHR) reported on Monday.

"According to information collected by Iran Human Rights, at least 76 people were killed in the demonstrations" in 14 provinces of the country, the NGO said in a statement, adding that "six women and four children" were among the dead.

IHR claims to have obtained "videos and death certificates confirming live ammunition fired at protesters".
