China News Agency, Beijing, September 26 (Reporter Chen Su) The reporter learned from the Ministry of Emergency Management of China on the 26th that typhoon "Aolu" will bring serious wind and rain effects to the South China Sea and the coast of South China. The four-level emergency response for flood control and typhoon prevention is activated.

At 14:00 on the 26th, the center of this year's No. 16 typhoon "Aolu" (typhoon level) was located on the sea about 510 kilometers southeast of Sansha City (Xisha Yongxing Island), Hainan Province.

According to meteorological forecasts, "Olu" will move westward at a speed of 20-25 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will gradually increase. It will pass through the Paracel Islands on the 27th and land on the eastern coast of Vietnam during the day on the 28th.

It is expected that in the next three days, "Aolu" will bring serious wind and rain effects to the South China Sea and the coast of South China.

According to the relevant provisions of the "National Emergency Plan for Flood Control and Drought Relief", the National Defense General Administration launched a four-level emergency response to flood control and typhoon in Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi and Fujian provinces on the 26th.

The General Office of National Defense and the Department of Emergency Management organized a special video conference on typhoon prevention that day to coordinate the work of flood and typhoon prevention at sea and on land.

The General Office of National Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Management emphasized that it is necessary to resolutely anchor the goal of "no dead people and less losses", strengthen monitoring, forecasting and early warning, consultation and judgment, initiate or adjust emergency response in a timely manner, and promptly organize marine ships in the typhoon-affected area to avoid wind and sea. Personnel from operating platforms, returning ships, and offshore aquaculture and fishing platoons go ashore to avoid danger.

Attention must be paid to the work of cross-provincial fishing boats returning to the port to take shelter from the wind. The safe haven must resolutely implement the territorial responsibility, and the registry port must take the initiative to report the information of the fishing boat and strengthen coordination to ensure that "boats enter the port and people go ashore."

Do a good job in preventing floods in small and medium-sized rivers and mountain torrents, and move people in dangerous areas on land such as low-lying flood-prone, hilly areas, along rivers, tourist attractions, and dilapidated old houses in advance to ensure the safety of people's lives.
