“We ask you to consider the possibility of providing armor from conscription for military service as part of partial mobilization for electronics industry specialists participating in relevant chains of cooperation,” the appeal says.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that specialists in the field of media, IT, communications and finance would not be involved in the partial mobilization.
The General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces also named the categories of citizens who are exempt from partial mobilization.
