On Sunday, a 44-year-old worker was seriously injured while working on a machine at the Purina Nestlé factory in Marconnelle, Pas-de-Calais.

According to our colleagues from La

Voix du Nord

, the victim had his arm torn off.

The investigation will have to determine the exact circumstances of this industrial accident.

Nevertheless, the first elements indicate that the worker was working on a stopped machine when the production line was restarted.

It was then that his arm was caught in the machine up to the elbow.

Despite serious injuries, the man was taken care of and transported to the hospital in Amiens, in the Somme, without his vital prognosis being engaged.
