A 10-year-old child was knocked down by a car in Crépy-en-Valois (Oise), this Saturday.

The accident occurred around 11 p.m. in the rue du Docteur Calmette, specifies Le Courrier Picard.

The victim was taken care of in serious condition by the firefighters and the doctors of the Smur de Compiègne, indicates Actu Oise.

She was helicoptered in absolute urgency to the hospital center of Amiens.

The driver of the car, unharmed, was taken care of by the municipal police and the gendarmerie.

An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of this accident.
