The Russian Armed Forces prevented attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strike at the ZNPP with eight kamikaze drones

“Attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strike at the territory of the nuclear power plant with eight kamikaze drones have been prevented,” the message says.

The department clarified that all Ukrainian drones were shot down outside the territory of the nuclear power plant, and the radiation situation at the station remains normal.

In just a day, the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired 59 shells at the residential areas of the city of Energodar and the territory adjacent to the ZNPP.

On September 20, the administration of Energodar stated that the special building, the cooling system and the canteen of the Zaporizhzhya NPP were damaged during another shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
