Xinhua News Agency, Taipei, September 25 (Reporters Qi Xianghui, Yue Xitong) The Taiwan Epidemic Command Center announced on the 25th that 38,980 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia were added, including 38,785 local cases and 195 imported cases. Among the confirmed cases 34 new deaths were added.
The command center stated that the new local cases were 18,046 males, 20,726 females, and 13 under investigation, aged between under 5 years old and over 90 years old.
The command center said that the new deaths that day were 14 males and 20 females, aged between their 30s and 90s, and 27 of them had not received 3 doses of the new crown vaccine.
There were 223 new cases of moderate and severe cases on the same day.
Statistics show that as of now, there have been 6,250,051 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in Taiwan, including 6,216,234 local cases.
