The announcement that the parties on the right agree to vote for Andreas Norlén (M) to continue as Speaker of the Riksdag means that there is likely to be no political battle for the post of Speaker when the Riksdag convenes.

However, there could of course be a fight over the second deputy speaker post that the right-wing parties have agreed to give to Sweden Democrat Julia Kronlid, says SVT's Mats Knutson.

- With the parties that now want to form a government having 176 seats, Norén will be elected.

The question is, however, whether there are liberals who do not want to vote for a Sweden Democrat as second deputy speaker.

In that case, the majority can switch, he says.
