The second day of the Laver Cup ends with Europe ahead 8-4 thanks to the singles successes of Matteo Berrettini and Novak Djokovic, with the two also starring in a spectacular and winning double in the evening. 

In the afternoon Berrettini had beaten the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, while the Serbian had defeated Frances Tiafoe at the beginning of the evening session. 

In the doubles,

Berrettini and Djokovic overtook the pair made up of the American Jack Sock and the Australian Alex de Minaur (

7-5, 6-2).

The Laver Cup ends on Sunday with four games that will each bring three points to the winning team.

Europe has won the last four editions.

Federer's team will only need to win two games to raise the cup again.
