Today, Saturday, German Chancellor Olaf Schultz began a 3-day Gulf tour, which also includes the UAE and Qatar, and is discussing several files, including energy cooperation.
At the beginning of the tour, Schultz met in Jeddah, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and later met with King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
The talks deal with files of common interest, including the energy crisis, the stability of oil prices, the repercussions of the Russian war on Ukraine, the situation in Yemen and the Iranian nuclear file.
The German chancellor is scheduled to travel to the Emirates on Saturday evening, after which he will travel to Qatar.
