Seven people have been killed and 41 injured in an explosion outside a mosque in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The Taliban-affiliated police said people were leaving a mosque after Friday prayers when a car parked in front of them suddenly exploded. Seven civilians were killed and 41 others, including children, were injured.



The site of the explosion includes the residences of the Taliban's interim government officials and a television station, and is in an area where the Taliban have strict security.
