Police on dog attacks: It was better when we had these missions

Previously, it was the entire responsibility of the police to go out on cases where dog attacks took place.

But in 2018, the law was changed and the county board took over the supervision of dogs.

But already in 2015, police inspector Stefan Karlsson wrote a referral response in which he argued against the proposal. 

- My role then was to make decisions for the Södertörn police district regarding handling or killing in animal welfare matters.
