It was at the beginning of August this year that the incident took place in Högsby municipality.

The three men, who are between 17 and 19 years old, tricked the young man into a car and took his mobile phone from him.

Then they drove off to a forest lot in Högsby municipality.

Threatened to kill if he didn't finish

The men were masked during the car journey, and when they arrived at the forest lot, the young man was subjected to several blows to the head and stomach by the oldest of the defendants, who is also the victim's ex-boyfriend.

He then also pointed a loaded weapon at the plaintiff's head and threatened to kill him if he did not break up with his girlfriend over text.

Threatened ex-girlfriend's family

The 19-year-old is charged on all counts but also for assault.

He is also charged with domestic violence and unlawful threats after threatening his ex-girlfriend and her family at their home in May this year.

The two 17-year-old men are charged with unlawful deprivation of liberty, aggravated unlawful coercion and aggravated weapons offences.

The three young men have previously gone unpunished.

All three admit to parts of the incident on the first charge.

The 19-year-old denies any wrongdoing regarding the threats against his ex-girlfriend and her family.
