Qais Khazali, Secretary-General of the so-called "Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq" in Iraq, said yesterday, Thursday, that the coordination framework is completely open with everything the Sadrist movement wants to get out of the political crisis that has been going on for months.

Khazali added that the coordination framework is ready to deal with what he described as logical demands to resolve the crisis.

He described the talk about forming a delegation to meet the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, to solve the crisis as a rumor.

In the same context, the Secretary-General of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq made it clear that for the coordination framework, there is no chance for a second term for the current Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi.

After the legislative elections that took place about a year ago and were led by the Sadrist movement, Iraq entered a severe political crisis, as differences between the political forces prevented the formation of a new government.

Recently, the conflict moved to the street inside and around the Green Zone, where dozens were killed in armed clashes between supporters of the Sadrist movement and some factions loyal to the coordination framework.

third round

For his part, the Prime Minister called on the political forces that differ with him to settle these differences away from the interests of the people.

Al-Kazemi said - in statements to the television - that there are those who wish the government to fail completely because of personal differences with him.

He indicated that he would invite the political forces to a third round of national dialogue with the aim of finding solutions to the current political crisis that the country is going through.

In another context, Al-Kazemi referred to his country's success in bringing Saudi Arabia and Iran closer together, and said that this prompted other countries to restore their relations with them based on this rapprochement, as he put it.
