- Borovaya is one of the settlements of the Izyumsky district of the Kharkov region, which remains under the control of the RF Armed Forces and keeps the defense.

What is the current situation in the Borovsky district?

- We are holding the defense along Oskol, in the Rubtsov region and in the Kupyansk region.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to enter in the gap between Borovaya and Kupyansk, but this grouping was destroyed.

Now our troops have retreated from Izyum and from Kupyansk, so near Borovaya they tried to bomb us with a 120-mm mortar.

There were arrivals, but “dryers” (military aviation. - RT

) immediately flew in

and they were quickly covered.

— How many people now remain in Borovaya?

- It's hard to say, because people, of course, leave.

Mothers with children, for example, now have the opportunity to leave and rest in the Krasnodar Territory.

Until a recent aggravation, we sent children there to a health camp by the sea.

Despite the fact that many locals, of course, were afraid and decided to leave here, many remain.

From the very beginning of the NWO, about 10 thousand people remained in 38 villages of our Borovsky district.

After the aggravation of the situation, of course, a couple of thousand people left, leaving, say, 8 thousand people.

- How is it in Borovaya with communications, with electricity?

- When I leave Borovaya, as soon as I am cut off, there is no connection there.

APU 2.5 km from Kupyansk killed the high-voltage line, and we are powered from Kupyansk.

And there is no way to fix it, because those technicians who have the right to repair the high-voltage line are exactly where the Armed Forces entered.

There was an attempt to make a reserve line, but the Ukrainian side immediately covered it in several places, so now Borovaya lives only at the expense of generators.

We are trying to import more of them so that people can receive at least some light.

How does the village function?

Do the administration, local self-government bodies work?

- The administration is working, and Izyumsky guys who previously worked in the Izyum city administration also work in my Borovsky district.

We are one territorial administration - the Izyumsky district of the Kharkov region.

The bravest and bravest from there are with me now and help me with the evacuation of local residents, with humanitarian aid.

Are hospitals and schools open?

— We prepared schools in the village and were going to start training on September 15th.

In total, four schools were ready in the district, two were in 90% readiness, but, unfortunately, due to the aggravated situation, the lessons did not start there.

We have a hospital.

Just the other day, I talked with doctors for more than an hour, thanking them for their help.

The fact is that Ukraine still pays salaries to many doctors - this is done on purpose, the so-called sabotage money.

The same payments are made to some teachers and school directors.

They were paid simply to stay at home and refuse to teach the new curriculum or, in the case of the medical profession, refuse to treat people.

— What social and humanitarian problems are the most acute for the village?

- I turned to the Ministry of Emergency Situations to help with humanitarian aid, because soon the people who live here will simply have nothing to eat.

Previously, everything was brought from Kupyansk, but now the bases that were located there have come under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is dangerous to send cars with humanitarian aid from Russia to us.

But I am ready to personally pick up the humanitarian aid and go for it myself if the Ministry of Emergency Situations provides me with KamAZ trucks.

Just to give this help to people.

But for now, the question is up in the air.

Well, as I said, you need electricity.

If there are generators, we will be able to produce bread ourselves.

And then it will get easier.

So far, we are holding on well, because it is autumn and people have something in their gardens: potatoes, cucumbers, peppers ... But before winter, we will have to think of something, because otherwise the remaining people will start to starve.

So we are hoping for humanitarian aid, which we cannot yet receive due to the fact that hostilities are taking place too close to us.

- Tell us about the defense of the area.

What is the mood of the population of Borovoye now?

“Moods among the population are different.

Of course, people who support Russia are more suitable for me.

Those who support Ukraine (and there are definitely such people, this should not be underestimated), mostly sit at home and do not want to communicate with anyone.

You see, if you watched the Ukrainian television that some residents of Borovaya watch, you would immediately understand why this is happening.

High-class psychologists work there, who have brainwashed people for eight years in such a way that it is now very difficult to convey the truth to them.

But, believe me, sooner or later they will change their mind.

As for defense: we cannot observe everything, but we can judge by what our valiant soldiers tell us.

In general, there are many settlements here that are not on the line of contact.

Naturally, they raise their chickens there, breed pigs, milk cows - life goes on.

Of course, it’s hard for people, because the stores are not replenished with products.

You have to survive only on agriculture.
