As part of the special operation, citizens of those categories that are needed to complete tasks will be called up, including shooters, tankers, artillerymen, drivers, and driver-mechanics. 

At the same time, the number of those subject to conscription is determined by the regular needs of the completed military units.

According to the law, privates and sergeants under the age of 35, junior officers up to 50 years old, and senior officers up to 55 years old are subject to mobilization, Rear Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky, a spokesman for the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, said.

He also named the categories of citizens who are exempt from partial mobilization.
