A carrier strike group led by the US nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan will arrive in Busan this morning (23rd).

The carrier strike group is scheduled to hold a joint naval exercise in the East Sea at the end of this month to strengthen friendly cooperation between the naval forces of the two countries.

The 100,000-ton Reagan was commissioned in 2003 and is called a 'floating military base' as it carries about 80 aircraft, including Super Hornet fighters and aerial early warning aircraft.
