Abdullah bin Zayed meets the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil in New York
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Carlos Alberto Franca, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and Brazil and prospects for strengthening joint cooperation in all fields, including investment, economic and trade.
A number of issues on the agenda of the United Nations General Assembly were also reviewed, in addition to ways to enhance global efforts to confront climate change.
The meeting was attended by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Ambassador Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Political Affairs, the country's permanent representative to the United Nations.
