Lavrov arrived in New York to attend the UN General Assembly

Lavrov in New York will take part in the high-level week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.

Earlier, the head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, said that he had not received a US visa to participate in a session of the UN General Assembly.

Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, said that the Russian side would insist on UN Secretary General António Guterres launching arbitration against the United States due to the fact that Russian diplomats constantly face problems in issuing visas.
