Prime Minister Kishida has arrived in the United States during his visit.

On the 21st of Japan time, he will give a general debate speech at the United Nations General Assembly and will appeal for the need to strengthen the functions of the United Nations in light of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

On the morning of the 20th Japan time, Prime Minister Kishida departed from Haneda Airport on a chartered plane and arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, USA, around 11:30 pm on the 20th.

Prime Minister Kishida is scheduled to deliver a general debate speech at the United Nations General Assembly on the morning of the 21st, Japan time. I will appeal the necessity.

During his stay, he will also attend a summit-level meeting aimed at the entry into force of the CTBT (Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty), which bans all nuclear tests, and promote efforts to abolish nuclear weapons.

In addition, I will make a speech at the New York Stock Exchange to appeal Japan's economic policies, including the "new capitalism" that I myself advocate.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Kishida also plans to hold individual talks with the leaders of various countries, and through the series of events he hopes to strengthen cooperation with countries that share the same values.
