“Referendums in the Donbass are of great importance not only for the systemic protection of the inhabitants of the LNR, DNR and other liberated territories, but also for the restoration of historical justice,” Medvedev wrote on Telegram.
According to him, after the adoption of the Donbass republics into Russia, the geopolitical transformation in the world will become irreversible.
“That is why these referendums are so feared in Kyiv and in the West.
That is why they need to be carried out,” Medvedev concluded.
On September 19, the Public Chamber of the DPR turned to the head of the republic, Denis Pushilin, with a request to vote on joining Russia.
On the same day, the Public Chamber of the LPR appealed to the head of the republic, Leonid Pasechnik, with the same initiative.
