A 23-year-old former police officer from the Massy (Essonne) police station was tried on Monday by the Evry-Courcouronnes criminal court.

She and her companion were suspected of having stored at their home and sold various narcotics, reports

The 24-year-old man was arrested first on Friday by police, who were monitoring the deal point where the couple carried out their transactions.

The suspect fled before being arrested at his home, after parting with a bag containing drugs.

Convicted

Cocaine, cannabis resin and weed were found at the couple's home during a search.

Money and numerous national police equipment, possibly stolen by the defendant when she worked at the police station, were also discovered.

The young woman was sentenced to three months in prison and nine months suspended, as well as a permanent ban on exercising in the public service.

His companion was sentenced to six months firm and six suspended.
