Occupied Jerusalem

- Israel exploited the blockade it imposed on the Gaza Strip to develop its military industries, as it launched military operations during the siege of the Strip after declaring it a "hostile entity", as Tel Aviv has been exploiting wars with the Palestinian resistance for 15 years to use its weapons New, tested and developed.

However, Israel did not succeed in achieving its goals from its successive wars on Gaza, despite the arsenal of weapons that it developed, as the resistance factions were able to enhance their military capabilities, adapt to developments, and confront Israeli weapons and innovations.

The resistance achieved unprecedented successes in developing its missile capabilities and targeting Israeli cities with missiles, despite the huge developments and expenditures that were made for the Iron Dome system, which proved to have failed to intercept the resistance’s missiles.

The following are the most important weapons that Israel tested in Gaza and developed during its repeated wars with the Palestinian resistance.

Iron Dome

At the beginning of 2007, the Israeli Ministry of Security, in cooperation with the Aerospace Industries, began developing the "Iron Dome" system as a mobile air defense system to intercept short-range missiles, mortars and drones. 40 km to 100 km.

However, during the wars on the Gaza Strip, with the development of the capabilities of the missile resistance and the launching of medium-range missiles and rocket bursts that carried 100 shells at once and reached the Israeli depth, the Iron Dome’s inability to provide immunity to the atmosphere and its failure to intercept missiles that fell in populated areas was exposed.

In an attempt to fill the gaps and reduce failure, an Iron Dome system was developed to intercept medium-range missiles, and support mechanisms that operate under laser beams. However, it was not able to provide immunity to Israeli cities that were affected by the missile bombing of the resistance factions, despite the development and modernization of the Iron Dome.

David's sling

The Israeli Ministry of Defense announced in 2016 that the "David's Sling" missile system had passed a round of tests during the wars with the resistance on the Gaza front.

The "David's Sling" system was designed to shoot down and intercept rockets and missiles with a range of between 100 and 300 km, aircraft or low-flying cruise missiles, after signs of failure shown by the "Iron Dome" system in intercepting the missiles that targeted the Israeli depth.

David's Sling came to support the Iron Dome and bridge the gap between the Iron Dome system to intercept short-range ballistic missiles, guided missiles and drones, and the "Arrow" system, which operates with lasers to intercept long-range missiles, two systems that Israel uses to fortify its atmosphere.

magic wand

The development of the “Magic Wand” system came in 2017 to intercept medium-range missiles, along with the “Iron Dome” system, which revealed its flaws and loopholes during the wars with Gaza to intercept short and medium-range missiles fired by the resistance at Israeli cities.

The development of the "magic wand" aimed to complete the multi-layered air defense systems of missiles in the Israeli Air Force, knowing that this system is tasked with intercepting the missiles in the possession of Hezbollah, as well as the advanced rockets in the possession of Hamas and reaching beyond Tel Aviv.

Kirin-Or system

The "Kirin-Or" system, which was tested during the recent war on the Gaza Strip, is a defense system that works with laser weapons to protect against short-range missiles, rockets, mortars and aircraft, including drones.

This is in contrast to the Iron Dome, which failed to intercept all missiles and provide protection and immunity, and its loopholes and inability to protect populated areas were exposed.

The development of this system came after the failure demonstrated by the Iron Dome to intercept all the medium-range missiles launched by the resistance during the military operations and which fell deep into Israeli cities, knowing that the resistance bombed even Tel Aviv and the residential communities after Tel Aviv with missiles, which caused heavy property losses.

Drones "Army of marches"

Amidst the failure of the Israeli army to resolve the battle on the Gaza front, and its exclusion of the scenario of undermining Hamas’ rule, its reluctance to engage in face-to-face battles with the resistance factions, or an incursion and ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, for fear of losing battles and incurring heavy losses for soldiers, Israel resorted to the use of drones to confront the factions. resistance from the air.

With the failure of Israel to achieve its goals from the air by destroying the military capabilities of the resistance and pushing for the demilitarization of Gaza, and with the resistance factions confronting the drones with heavy machine guns and surface-to-air missiles, and the use of the resistance’s drones, Israel was forced to develop marches for photography, surveillance, espionage, information-gathering and attack planes. .

Consequently, the so-called "army of marches" of the occupation posed challenges to the resistance, especially with the occupation's use of explosive offensive marches to carry out assassinations in Gaza, which motivated the resistance to invent and develop its own marches that penetrated the Israeli airspace and documented many security installations on more than one occasion. It targeted infrastructure projects and facilities with a national security dimension in the regions of Ashdod, Ashkelon and the Negev desert.

Military vehicle "Guardium"

With the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army deployed the remote-operated military vehicle "Guardium" at the security fence with Gaza, and is specialized in shooting.

It is a war machine and an offensive "robot" whose mission is to shoot and kill without revealing the identity of the target. It was used at the security fence with Gaza in order to intimidate and terrorize Palestinians and prevent them from approaching the security fence.

Military vehicle "Ford F350"

This vehicle was developed in parallel with the entry into service of the "Guardium" military vehicle. It is equipped with cameras, weapons, machine guns, rifles, and light machine guns. It is like a trap set for Palestinians at the security fence with Gaza, and when anyone approaches it, it is targeted and shot. This vehicle was used to suppress the return marches and end the lives of Palestinians.
