its epicenter in Coalcomán

, a municipality in the state of Michoacán, in the central part of the country. 

The quake struck 46 kilometers southeast of La Placita de Morelos and was located at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The National Seismological Center (CSN) said, while the US tsunami warning system added that there was a risk of a tsunami near the coast. 

Fear in the streets of the capital, Mexico City, where the shock was distinctly felt.

At the moment there is no news of damage. 

The earthquake occurred on the anniversary of the terrible earthquake of 1985, which caused over 10 thousand victims in the same area.
