Earlier it became known that the court in Moldova extended the house arrest of Igor Dodon until September 21.

He was charged with committing a crime related to abuse of office.

According to the politician, the group of prosecutors and investigators who are working on the case against him is managed by the US Embassy.

On August 25, a rally in support of Dodon was organized in Moldova.

The rally was attended by representatives of the Gagauz autonomy, parliament deputies, civil activists and members of youth organizations.
