They bought a Lotto Max ticket for May 17.
Among them, the Chinese from Kangshan said that he decided to check with his mobile phone.
He scanned the lottery ticket with the OLG mobile app and thought the comma in the prize amount was a period, so he didn't think much of it at first.
But he was a little suspicious, so he decided to check again.
This time he realized they had won the Max Million jackpot.
The Chinese from Thornhill said when he accepted the prize at the OLG Lottery Centre in Toronto that he was very surprised and immediately called two friends.
The experience was incredible, he said.
Three people said they had different plans for the bonus, to pay the bills, save it or share it with the kids.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Circle K convenience store on Dufferin Street, North York.
