The investigation into the bribery case of Takahashi Takahashi, a former member of the Executive Committee of the Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee, has made new progress recently. Another Japanese advertising giant, ADK (Xutong DK), is also suspected of becoming a Tokyo Olympic team under Takahashi Takahashi’s private operation. The outsourcing enterprises of the Commission did not make profits illegally.

The Japan Times reported that the special investigation team of the Tokyo District Prosecutor's Office suspected that Takahashi had encouraged Dentsu to choose ADK as its partner, responsible for outsourcing services for the sponsor's business.

Dentsu is the exclusive marketing partner of the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee, and Haruyuki Takahashi was a Dentsu executive.

In 2018, Park24, Japan's largest parking industry operator, became a sponsor of the Tokyo Olympics, and ADK was seen as playing an important role in the negotiations, receiving an outsourcing fee from Dentsu.

But in fact, ADK did nothing at all in the negotiations between Park24 and the Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee.

According to reports, a consulting firm headed by Takahashi Haruyuki signed a contract with ADK as early as the summer of 2013, and charged ADK’s 50 million yen consulting fee. The contract lasts for eight and a half years and expires December 2021.

Although Tokyo had not yet won the right to host the Olympics when the contract was signed, it is clear that the contract was signed for the Tokyo Olympics.

In addition to profiting from Park24's sponsorship, ADK has also won a number of contracts from the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee, including a contract to operate a competition venue.

It is worth noting that former Japanese Olympic Committee President Takeda Henghe has been serving as an external director of Park24, and Takeda Henghe also served as a witness a few days ago and was questioned by the prosecution.

Takeda has been president of the Japanese Olympic Committee since 2001. In March 2019, he resigned as a member of the International Olympic Committee and chairman of the Japanese Olympic Committee on suspicion of bribery and canvassing in the process of Tokyo's bid for the 2020 Olympic Games.

Takeda Tsunekazu also served as the vice chairman of the Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee at the time.

According to Kyodo News earlier, Tokyo prosecutors are subpoenaing Takeda Tsunekazu, mainly investigating how Takahashi became an executive member of the Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee.

In June 2014, Haruyuki Takahashi became the last member to join the Executive Committee.

Takahashi Haruyuki is 4 years older than Takeda Tsunekazu, both of whom graduated from Keio University, and were close friends during Tokyo's bid for the Olympic Games.

According to the report, Tokyo prosecutors also subpoenaed former Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee Chairman Yoshiro Mori.

On August 17, Haruyuki Takahashi was arrested by the Tokyo District Prosecutors Office for allegedly receiving 51 million yen in bribes from menswear giant AOKI.

After that, the snowball of the bribery case got bigger and bigger. So far, in addition to AOKI, the companies involved are the publishing giant Kadokawa (KADOKAWA), the two advertising giants ADK and Daiko (Daguang), and the old man of Takahashi Haruyuki. "COMMONS2", a consulting firm represented by Kazumai, an acquaintance.

The former chairman of AOKI company Aoki Kokian, Kadokawa chairman Kadokawa Arihiko, Fukami Kazuma and many others were arrested.
