Kwon Do-hyung, CEO of Terraform Labs, for whom an arrest warrant was issued for violating the Capital Market Act, was not in Singapore, according to local police.

Singapore Police said on the 17th (local time) that Kwon's whereabouts were "not currently in Singapore," Reuters and AFP news outlets reported.

"The Singapore Police will assist the Korean National Police Agency within the scope of domestic law and international obligations," it added.

However, specific details such as immigration records were not mentioned.

CEO Kwon posted on his Twitter account hours after the announcement was made, stating that he was "not on the run," Bloomberg News reported.

"Any government agency that has shown interest in communicating with us, we are fully working with it, and we have nothing to hide," he said.

CEO Kwon, the developer of Luna and Terra, was accused of fraud by investors when the price of the coin plummeted.

After four months of investigation, the Korean prosecutor's office recently issued arrest warrants for six people, including CEO Kwon, founding member Nicholas Platias, and CEO Hanmo Han of Terraform Labs, an affiliate of Teraform Labs, on charges of violating the Capital Market Act.

As Kwon was initially known to be staying in Singapore, it was expected that he would go through Interpol red wanted to secure new recruits based on his arrest warrant.
