China News Service, September 17. According to the "Moscow Times" report, on the 16th local time, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that a quarter of Russia's natural gas supply to Turkey will be settled in rubles.

  Putin told Erdogan that "the agreement on the delivery of Russian gas to Turkey is about to come into force, and 25% of the payments will be settled in Russian rubles."

  Putin also noted that he considers Turkey a "reliable" trading partner capable of ensuring stable deliveries to the rest of the world through its territory.

  Nearly half of Turkey's natural gas and about a quarter of its oil are imported from Russia, the report said.
