Here are the parties' strongest and weakest strongholds

In Östergötland, the major parties advanced, while the Green Party and the Liberals retreated in several places.

The Social Democrats

The party previously had its strongest strongholds in the Skäggetorp district in Linköping, but now suddenly the Social Democrats' two strongest East Gothic strongholds are in Motala, partly Charlottenborg but above all Ekön where the party received 54.2 percent of the vote.

The party is weakest in the Söderköping archipelago, in the Sankt Anna-Börrum district it was 12.4 percent.

The Sweden Democrats

In Regna in the northernmost parts of Finspång municipality, the Sweden Democrats got their best result, 33.5 percent.

In the district Ryd's central parts in Linköping, district Ryd 5, the party received only 4.2 percent of the votes.

The moderates

+

The people of Lindö in Norrköping usually top the moderate statistics and will do so this election as well.

In the electoral district Lindö Östra, the party received 48.4 percent of the votes.

The residents of Skäggetorp in Linköping do not seem to be that impressed by the Moderates, in the Skäggetorp 4 district the result was 4.9 percent.

The Center Party

In Torpa in Ydre municipality, the Center Party managed to get a whopping 41% of the votes.

In the past, the party has been strongest in Gotland, but this year the best result was in Burgsvik with 33.9 percent.

The party got its worst figures in Vadstena and Norrköping, the lowest share of votes was in the Norrköping district Eneby Centrum with 1.8 percent.

The Christian Democrats

The Christian Democrats always get their best Östgöta figures in Ödeshög, so this year too.

In the district of Lysing, the party received 32.1 percent of the votes.

The party ended up below 2 percent in several districts on Gotland, the worst was in Visby Öster with 1.2 percent.

In Östergötland, the lowest ranking was the district Ringdansen in Norrköping with 2.4 percent.

The left party

The left party has made a strong choice in several Norrköping districts, the best was in Nordantill northwest with 21.6 percent of the votes.

In Vadstena, the numbers were bad for the Left Party, the worst was in the district of Alvastra, with 0.6 percent of the votes.

The Green Party

It is in Visby Innerstaden that the party is strongest with 13.4% of the votes.

The strongest stronghold in Östergötland will be the Linköping district Domkyrko 11 (Fridhem) but 11.8 percent.

In Ljusfallshammar in Finspång municipality, the party did not do so well, there it got 0 votes and 0 percent.

The Liberals

The party's strongest district in Östergötland was also this year "Mantorp centrum et al", where the party became the second largest party after the Social Democrats with 23.2 percent.

In two districts in Ydre municipality, Asby and western Ryd, the Liberals did not get any votes at all, i.e. 0 percent.

Some other lots

In Horn-Hycklinge-Björkfors, the

became the largest party with 34.4 percent of the vote. 

The local party

in Vadstena succeeded best in the district "Gamla Söder-Nya Söder-Hertigen et al" where Consensus became the largest party with 28.8 percent. 

In central Linköping and the district S:t Lars 7, the

List achieved its best result with 17.2 percent of the votes.
