A man, who ran to Queen Elizabeth's coffin in Westminster Hall, was arrested by police.

The man, according to what was reported by the metropolitan police, was detained under the law on public order.

The incident took place around 10 pm local time.

"At around 10pm on Friday, September 16, officers from the diplomatic and parliamentary protection command of the Met arrested a man in Westminster Hall following riots," reports the Scotland Yard statement.

The Queen's coffin will remain in Westminster Hall until Monday, when her funeral is scheduled.
