Five young people are under arrest after the suspected double murder in an apartment in Ulricehamn the night before last Wednesday.
Now three of them will be requested to be detained.
- I will request that three people be detained today.
Partly the man who is suspected of murder, and partly two people who are suspected of attempted aggravated robbery, says prosecutor Martin Svensson to TT.
It was the night before last Wednesday that the police received an alarm about several injured people in a residence in Ulricehamn.
Two young men were found dead in the apartment.
Young people
All those involved are young people.
The man suspected of murder is, like one of the robbery suspects, in his 20s, while the third person who is wanted in custody is a boy under 18.
In the past, a minor girl has also been detained on suspicion of murder, but she was released after the suspicions against her weakened.
Two more young men are under arrest on suspicion of aggravated attempted robbery, where the prosecutor has not yet decided whether they should be remanded in custody or not.
- There is no definitive information about them, but the arrest against them remains, says Martin Svensson.
Tried to get in?
According to information in several media, the suspected double murder occurred in connection with several people trying to get into the home via the balcony.
According to the information, the two dead men must have been subjected to knife violence.
However, Martin Svensson does not want to go into details yet, but refers to the custody negotiations which will probably take place this afternoon.
- I will go out with information during the afternoon, where I will give my view of what I think has happened, he says.
- There are some interrogations to be held during the day as well, so I want to wait for them.
