"Has SD cleaned up its own ranks?"

"Is intransigence the new normal in Swedish politics?"

"Isn't it usually the largest party that gets the task of forming a government?"

These are some of the questions that were asked when Danish radio, DR, held a question and answer session with its viewers.

One of those who answered was the foreign reporter Malthe Sommerand.

- The questions from the Danes focus on the Sweden Democrats.

They wonder why SD has been such a political pariah, kept out of influence for almost the entire time they sat in the Riksdag, he says.

He also talks about reactions from the political side in Denmark - the Conservative People's Party was quick to go out and congratulate Ulf Kristersson (M) as the future bourgeois prime minister.

- The Danish bourgeois and the Danish conservatives are really happy about the election in Sweden.

They feel that it shows a direction for the Nordic region.

The Danish conservatives hope that this election can help them also get a change of power and a bourgeois government.
