Historically Yours brings together 3 young ladies who sing the blues: Ma Rainey, one of the pioneers, considered “the mother of the blues”.
A blues that she has, if not invented, largely given birth to and known.
Then, after her, others followed her path and imposed their voice, still in the United States, like Sister Rosetta Tharpe, who, guitar in hand, brought together blues and rock.
And a young lady who does not sing the blues but sings "Mademoiselle sings the blues": Patricia Kaas.
