A bus driver found dead in his vehicle by a passerby

Macabre discovery in Amfreville-la-Mi-Voie, near Rouen (Seine-Maritime), this Tuesday evening.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m., a bus driver was found dead in his vehicle by a passerby, reports 76actu.

The 50-year-old man "was on duty", according to a judicial source.

The bus was on rue de la République.

Help was dispatched to the scene.

Despite their efforts, the Samu and firefighters teams were unable to do anything, the victim was already dead when they arrived.

Cardiac arrest ?

An investigation was opened to understand the circumstances of the facts.

According to the first elements, the fifty-year-old, originally from Eure, was the victim of a cardiac arrest.

The driver being on duty when the tragedy occurred, the labor inspectorate was notified.
