The Mohammed bin Rashid International Center for Endowment and Endowment Consultation, affiliated with the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation, announced the launch of its new initiative, "Sabil Bread", aimed at supporting families, needy families and the category of labor by providing free bread at various times of the day in several approved outlets.

The innovative initiative aims to provide fresh bread to the needy, through pre-programmed smart machines, which prepare bread and provide it free of charge to the needy in a number of approved locations, within a modern and sustainable model of charitable work.

The project achieves the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, which he called for during the “Covid-19” pandemic, stressing His Highness that “no one will get sick.

No one will need.

No one will go hungry on the land of the Emirates, without everyone taking care of him.”

The initiative employs technology to produce bread and provide it to those in need, through smart innovative devices that provide bread on demand, so that the individual can obtain it directly from the device in quick steps.

The “Sabil Bread” initiative cooperates with the “Aswaaq” Foundation to provide bread distribution outlets in a number of its branches (Al Mizhar, Al Warqa’, Mirdif, Nad Al Sheba, Nad Al Hamar, Al Quoz, and Al Bida’).

The beneficiaries’ journey is an easy and simple process, as anyone in need can press the “Order Bread” button, wait for a while until the bread is ready, and then receive it from the machine.

The Secretary-General of the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation, Ali Al-Mutawa, said, “This initiative is a model for an innovative community endowment that opens the door for participation to all, creates a comprehensive charitable movement, and consolidates the spirit of solidarity and interdependence among the different segments of society.

We look forward to expanding the scope of cooperation with the initiative’s partners in the local community to reach the widest segment of beneficiaries.”

Zainab Jumaa Al-Tamimi, Director of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Global Center for Endowment and Endowment Consultation, said that the innovative endowment is a development tool that contributes to promoting the economy and social development, continuing that "the Emirati society is a compassionate and interdependent society.

We want to innovate development solutions to create a better and happier future for the people.”

Affan Al-Khoury, CEO of Aswaaq Retail Company, said: “We are pleased to be partners in the (Sabil Bread) initiative, which constitutes a community safety net in which everyone cooperates in order to extend a helping hand to those in need of the working class, individuals and needy families.

We look forward to providing bread through this initiative in a number of our selected branches in Dubai.”

It is possible to donate and contribute to the “Sabil Bread” initiative through the Dubai Now smart application, or by sending an SMS on the “du” and “Etisalat” networks in the UAE to 3656 for a donation of 10 dirhams, or to 3658 for a donation of 50 dirhams. Or on the number 3659 for a donation of 100 dirhams, or on the number 3679 for a donation of 500 dirhams.

And anyone can participate in the “Sabil Bread” initiative at any time and from anywhere via the website: mbrgcec.ae, so that he determines the value of the donation he wishes to contribute each time, so that the needy will receive free bread.

For those wishing to donate a sustainable charitable endowment that continues its impact on a daily basis, they can contribute to the “Sabil Bread” initiative by donating the value of the Sabeel bread production device as an endowment that serves the needy and provides them with their daily bread for free.

 Empowering needy families

The "Sabil Bread" initiative contributes to enabling needy families and the working class to secure their need for bread, while enabling donors to contribute to the charitable initiative.

Any donor can contribute his donation directly through the bread production machine in his location.

The initiative allows everyone to contribute by donating through simple steps, including pressing the “donate” option on the device screen, then specifying the amount to be donated, then entering the bank card, and then confirming the payment process.
