  On September 14th, the Chinese side handed over the delegation to South Korea; on September 15th, China and South Korea held an burial ceremony in South Korea; on the morning of the 16th, China and South Korea will jointly hold a handover ceremony for the remains of volunteer martyrs at Incheon International Airport in South Korea; the ceremony ended Later, the PLA Air Force Yun-20 will welcome the remains of the martyrs back to China, and then hold a welcoming ceremony at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport; on the morning of the 17th, a burial ceremony will be held at the Shenyang Anti-US and Aid Korea Martyrs Cemetery.

  At present, my country has received 8 batches of 825 remains of volunteers in South Korea for 8 consecutive years to return to China.

  This morning, a Y-20 aircraft of the Air Force took off from an airport in North China to go to South Korea to receive the remains of the ninth batch of volunteer army martyrs and return to China.

  Air Force spokesperson Shen Jinke said that when the remains of the volunteer martyrs return to China on September 16, the Air Force J-20 aircraft will escort the Y-20 aircraft carrying out the reception mission in our airspace, and line up in the sky with "Double 20". Condolences to the revolutionary martyrs.

  Senior Colonel Shen Jinke said: "The heroic spirit of heaven and earth is still awe-inspiring. This time, the Air Force carried out the mission of welcoming the remains of the ninth batch of volunteer army martyrs back to China, and sent a domestic military aircraft Y-20 to pay tribute to the country's loyalty and martyrdom with the heavy weapons of a great country. The remains of the volunteer army martyrs returned to China. At that time, the Y-20 will be escorted by the J-20, and the revolutionary martyrs will be comforted by the 'double 20' formation in the sky."

  Since 2015, the Air Force has sent planes to South Korea every year to carry out the mission of welcoming the remains of volunteer martyrs back home.

In 2020 and 2021, the Air Force will send the domestic transport aircraft Yun-20 to fly this mission. This year is the third time that the "Kunpeng" takes the hero home.
