In the text of the resolution, the council calls on Russia to "immediately cease all actions against and at the ZNPP."

The resolution was supported by 26 votes, two against (Russia and China), seven more abstained, the report said.

As Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier, he trusts the IAEA report on the delegation’s trip to the Zaporozhye NPP, although it is obvious that the agency’s leadership is under pressure from the United States and European countries, so he cannot directly say that the shelling of the plant area comes from the Ukrainian side.

Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya noted that Moscow regrets that the IAEA experts in their report do not indicate the source of the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

As of September 11, two agency specialists remained at the Zaporozhye NPP and worked there as observers.
