Today (15th), we will start the news with our exclusive coverage.

The building in front of the main building in the Blue House, which is now accessible to anyone, is the Yeongbingwan.

It was mainly used as a place for banquets when guests such as foreign heads of state came, or for diplomatic events.

After the opening of the Blue House this year, the guesthouse has been returned to the public, and there is no such space in the newly built Yongsan Presidential Office.

However, as a result of our investigation, it was confirmed that the government set a budget for the construction of a new building that will serve as the former guesthouse in the budget for next year.

The project period is 2 years and the budget is 87.8 billion won.

is the budget for next year's state-owned property management fund that the Ministry of Strategy and Finance submitted to the National Assembly on the 2nd.

This fund is prepared by selling unnecessary state-owned land or buildings, and is used for construction costs for public government offices and government offices.

However, in the budget, the budget for the 'construction of major facilities attached to the presidential office' is set.

The duration of the project is two years, and the execution body is the Presidential Secretariat.

The purpose of the project is 'to support the stable operation of state affairs, to build new major facilities for foreign guests reception and various events'.

In fact, the plan is to build a new building that functions as the existing Blue House guesthouse.

The new construction site is only 'near the President's Office'.

He pointed out that the basis for the project was for the implementation of the national task of relocating the presidential office to Yongsan.

The beneficiaries of the project are the 'nationals', and the enhancement of national prestige by preparing a reception hall for foreign guests and reduction of the rental budget for the event were suggested as expected effects.

Looking at the spending plan, it is 49.746 billion won next year and 38.117 billion won in the next year.

A total of 87.863 billion won was allocated.

The detailed items of the budget for next year include the basic survey design cost of 2.1 billion won, the detailed design cost of 2.25 billion won, and the construction cost of 43.2 billion won.

In order to finish the project in a short period of time, it also includes a plan to promote it through a 'design and construction batch bidding method'.

The preliminary feasibility study, in which the Ministry of Strategy and Finance verifies the feasibility of projects in advance, has been exempted for projects in which a large-scale national budget of 50 billion won or more is invested.

In accordance with the National Finance Act and other guidelines, public buildings are subject to exemption.
