It was on Saturday during the election weekend that the police were called to Örkelljunga where a girl in her early teens and a younger man had been beaten.

- A girl has been abused by two men by kicking and punching.

One of the suspects is also suspected of serious assault by running over a man, said Sara Andersson, regional South press spokesperson to SVT at the time.

The man is said to have also been beaten by kicks.

Two representatives of the Nazi party NMR, Marcus Hansson and Sebastian Elofsson, were arrested and detained on suspicion of the assault.

Now they have been detained at the Helsingborg district court.

Both have applied to join the council in Örkelljunga.

Sebastian Elofsson is also suspected of another assault on the same day.

- He denies any crime in all three cases, says John Nielsen, lawyer.

Both men deny wrongdoing.
