Rebel authorities in the Tigray region have accused the Ethiopian army of again shelling their capital Mekele on Wednesday (September 14th) for the second time in two days, shortly after they opened the door to a ceasefire. -fire and peace negotiations.

," immediately reacted Getachew Reda, close adviser to the president of the Tigray regional government.
The Tigrayan authorities who, moreover, pride themselves on having inflicted a heavy defeat on the federal army and its allies in the west of the province, while having lost the town of Sheraro.
But it is impossible at this stage to verify these allegations.
As in previous days, the Addis Ababa government for its part made no comment and did not respond to the press.
Since last week, the federal authorities have been stubbornly silent.
