Yesterday morning the Carabinieri issued the precautionary custody orders in prison for two men held responsible for the murder that took place last August 7 in the Viterbo area.
The victim was a 58-year-old man with a history.
The ambush, according to what was reconstructed by the military thanks also to some searches, would have taken place in the countryside of Soriano nel Cimino.
The two would have fired four pistol shots.
The victim in 2021 had negotiated a sentence of three years and four months of imprisonment for extortion and usury.
In 2007, he was arrested for extortion, theft, usury and receiving stolen goods.
For the accusation he was allegedly part of a gang specializing in theft of mechanical means on construction sites, which were then resold to entrepreneurs.
