The Department of Civil Protection today issued the warning of adverse weather conditions indicating that from the early hours of tomorrow, Thursday 15 September 2022 and for the following 18-24 hours, Lazio is expected to rain from scattered to widespread, including downpour or thunderstorm.

The phenomena will be accompanied by strong showers, frequent electrical activity, hailstorms and strong gusts of wind.

This was announced by the Regional Functional Center which carried out the assessment of the Alert / Criticality Levels and sent a bulletin with a yellow alert for hydrogeological criticalities and thunderstorms on all the alert areas of Lazio.

Yellow alert for hydraulic problems on Aniene, Southern Coastal Basins and Liri Basin.

The Permanent Operations Room of the Lazio Region issued the alert of the Regional Civil Protection System and invited all the structures to adopt all the relevant obligations.

Finally, it should be remembered that for every emergency the population will be able to refer to the municipal civil protection structures to which the Regional Operations Room will guarantee constant support.

Orange alert for tomorrow in Tuscany: due to bad weather and the Municipality of Florence has prepared an order to close parks and public fenced municipal gardens from 00.00 on Thursday 15 September to 08.00 on Friday 16 September.

It is recommended - reads a note - not to access freely accessible parks, gardens and green areas and to pay the utmost attention in the vicinity of green areas, not stopping near trees in case of strong wind and adverse weather conditions.

The managers of the economic activities present in parks and public gardens must guarantee the safety conditions of the green areas belonging to them.

The Civil Protection and Emergency Service of the Umbria Region has issued for the day tomorrow, based on the warnings of adverse weather conditions, an orange alert document for weather-hydrogeological-hydraulic risk.

From 00.00 on Thursday 15 September to 00.00 on 16 September the orange alert was decreed in the Alto Tevere, Trasimeno-Nestore, Chiascio-Topino, Nera-Corno areas and the yellow alert in the Chiani-Paglia and Medio areas Tiber.

The Risk Monitoring Functional Center of the Lombardy Region has issued a weather alert on the Milan hydraulic node starting today, Wednesday 14 September, in the afternoon.

In particular, a yellow alert is issued (ordinary risk) for thunderstorms, hydrogeological risk and hydraulic risk.

These weather phenomena, impacting on the various areas of the country, could determine hydrogeological and hydraulic criticalities which are reported, in a national summary, in the national criticality and alert bulletin which can be consulted on the Department's website (www.protezionecivile.gov.it).   

The notice provides from late afternoon today, Wednesday 14 September, from scattered to widespread rainfall, also of a reverse or thunderstorm character also on Friuli Venezia Giulia and Liguria.

The phenomena will be accompanied by strong showers, frequent electrical activity, hailstorms and strong gusts of wind.

The warning also foresees from the early hours of tomorrow winds from strong to south-western gale, on Marche and Emilia-Romagna.
