To celebrate it, Sony Music and the Estate of Michael Jackson have announced the release of a special box set which will be available from November 18th: "Michael Jackson Thriller 40".

The special reissue will contain a double disc consisting of "Thriller" and a second album with some surprises for fans, including songs by the King of Pop written during the making of "Thriller" and never released.

Several activities are planned, between now and the end of the year, to celebrate the work that remained for 500 weeks in the Billboard chart (the US weekly magazine dedicated to music), where it holds the record of 37 weeks at number 1. , and sold over 100 million copies worldwide since its release on November 30, 1982.
