The provisional data for July 2022 indicate, compared to the previous month, a slight decrease in the number of employees (-22 thousand, -0.1%) and in the employment rate (-0.1 points).

In the second quarter of 2022, the labor input used overall by the economic system (expressed by the hours worked in National Accounts) continues to increase, both compared to the previous quarter (+ 1.3%) and compared to the same quarter of 2021 (+5 , 1%).

The increase in employees compared to the first quarter (+ 175 thousand, + 0.8%) concerns both temporary (+48 thousand, + 1.6%) and permanent (+126 thousand, +0.8) employees %), while the number of independents remains stable.

The employment rate (seasonally adjusted data) increased by +0.5 points on the previous quarter, reaching 60.2%;
