A fire broke out this Monday at the start of the afternoon in an agricultural shed located in Hénansal (Côtes-d'Armor), at a place called La Ville-Moussard.

The alert was given shortly before 3 p.m., reports

The 800 m² building was a chick hatchery, a place intended to accommodate a rearing of chicks.

Hundreds of chicks were to be welcomed there… from this Tuesday.

No injuries

The fire prompted the mobilization of firefighters from Saint-Brieuc, Lamballe and Hénanbihen.

A tank truck from the Emergency Fire Center (CIS) was also sent to the scene to fight the flames.

The fire, whose origin is still unknown, however, completely destroyed the building.

After several hours of intervention, the flames were brought under control at the end of the afternoon without causing any injuries.
