A 17-year-old boy was indicted and imprisoned this Friday evening after seriously stabbing a minor in a fight between rival gangs in Seine-et-Marne.

At the end of the day on Wednesday, a fight broke out between around twenty people equipped with knives and baseball bats, in front of the Savigny-le-Temple station.

It opposed young people from this city to others from the town of Mée-sur-Seine.

The other suspects released

During this confrontation, "a 17-year-old minor was stabbed in the abdomen causing evisceration," said a police source.

Originally from Savigny-le-Temple, the teenager was prescribed a temporary total incapacity for work (ITT) of 90 days, said Béatrice Angelelli.

Six other young people, born between 2004 and 2007, were arrested.

They were released.

Several knives, a hammer and a tear gas canister were discovered near the scene of the brawl.
