In Milan, the Ftse Mib index + 2.33%, rose above 22,600 points, + 11% the September partial.

The increases for the main Wall Street indices were more limited, around 1%.

Meanwhile, the European lists are mainly driven by the banking sector, + 3.27% today and + 11% in the last three sessions: credit institutions in fact see benefits from the ECB's rate hike.

Above all, Banca Mps was highlighted, + 19.44% after rumors of an Anima commitment, for approximately 150-250 million euros, in support of the 2.5 billion capital increase launched by the Sienese institute.

This intervention, however, has negative repercussions on the cost of debt, including for the state.

The ten-year BTP yield on Friday exceeded 4%.

Today, however, it drops by 10 basis points, it is at 3.94%, the spread with the German equivalent drops to 230 basis points.

Today's optimism on the markets goes hand in hand with the drop in the price of gas, which returned below 200 euros per megawatt hour, to 190 euros, -8% compared to Friday.

Oil, on the other hand, rose, with the October future of Brent trading at 94.7 dollars a barrel and that of the WTI at 88.3, ​​both up by just under 2%.
