Around lunchtime, they suddenly started shooting wildly and ran away, speeding away in tanks and armed vehicles, village resident Dmytro Hrushchenko told the AP news agency. 

War crimes will be investigated as several dead bodies have been found in the area.

Among other things, a security guard who is suspected of having been shot dead at an industrial plant already in February when Russian soldiers first came to the village.

Two other bodies were also taken away for examination.

It concerns two men who are said to have been shot and then found by neighbors who buried them in their garden. 

Although Zaliznytjne has now been freed from the occupation, the difficulties are not over.
