On September 10, the large-scale fire-fighting/water rescue amphibious aircraft "Kunlong" AG600M (1005 aircraft) independently developed by the aviation industry completed its first flight test at Jinwan Airport in Zhuhai, Guangdong.

  At 9:36 on the same day, the first flight crew, consisting of captain Guo Yongguan, co-pilot Chen Ming, air mechanic Zhang Lei and onboard observer Ma Haijun, drove the AG600M aircraft to taxi and take off from Zhuhai Jinwan Airport, and flew smoothly in the air for 22 minutes. , After completing a series of predetermined flight test subjects, it landed smoothly at 9:58. The aircraft was in good condition, the control system was normal, and the systems were running stably.

  It is understood that a total of 4 new configuration fire extinguishers have been developed and put into production. The AG600M (1005) for this flight test is the second of this type of aircraft.

The aircraft completed the joint power-on inspection and debugging of the whole aircraft system on July 31; completed the first engine test run on August 15, and then carried out low, medium and high-speed taxiing; on September 6, it passed the pre-flight review before the first flight, and the cumulative completion was completed. After 5 sorties, 4 hours and 40 minutes, the first flight test was finally achieved.
